little showoffs Review & Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to review a toddler tee from little showoffs and am pleased to say that I plan to purchase from their site after having the sample tee sent for little J!

The teeshirt is simple and has fun wording on it, the one we received (shown in photo) is the "I know my abc's" black shortsleeve tee. Little J loves it! He recognizes the letters abc in order and calls it his "abc shirt". The teeshirt washed and dried nicely and didn't fade, no letter cracking from the dryer heat, and seems to hold up to toddler wear very well.

We've received several comments on it when we've been out and he's wearing it. The ladies at the local grocerystore love to see little J when we stop in and they think the shirt is the cutest thing! They instantly asked him if he DID know his abc's and he proudly says "abc's yes!!".

Since it's shortsleeve and the weather is cooling down a bit, we still want to get some use out of it, I think I'll stick a white or gray thermal under it and let him wear it as layers. These shirts are designed with a little sense of humor and simplicity... just fun in general!

I've been out of the loop lately. Not blogging, not doing - well much of anything actually. So I am still here, just being a crappy blogger. Sorry to my peeps :-) Here's what's random in my life (notice I'm posting even THIS super late!!)

• I have 4 reviews and/or giveaways to post, and I'll get to that soon...a giveaway for a cute teeshirt from little showoff's , a review from chickBuds (possible giveaway there for a pinktooth), a review&giveaway for Pence's with some snazzy "word to your mother" eco-stationary.
  
• I have been in the hospital for random testing 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I've had nuclear dye's ran in and out of me, CT scan's done, and ultrasounds and Hida Scans.... it's been a run of doctor visits for me - which is why I've been out of the loop.
  
• No - they haven't figured it out yet. Annoying. Gall bladder functions at 62% - I'd like to think it SHOULD be at 100%.... but evidently by insurance standards a 62% gall bladder is just fine. Hurts like hay-ell for sure. Ate a cheeseburger just to SEE if it triggered an attack, and it DID - but it's NOT my gall bladder.... right?? wrong
  
• I do have some cool images of my innards, and Julie tells me it'd be a rockin Wordless Wednesday, but Im not certain I want my innards on the net. I'll think on it...


• Insurance companies annoy me. And yes, I'm getting a 2nd opinion.


• I killed a GIGANTIC spider today - and THAT may be my Wordless Wednesday, because before I ended it's life - I took a photo of it. I'm mean and didn't leave it to wonder off into the back yard.... my kids play there. Sorry spider lovers.


• I've got alot of random, but I'm just not feelin it anymore - so there's my two cents worth for this week!!

Imagination Movers Review - For those about to HOP!

Do you have a situation that needs imagination??

When we received the Imagination Movers DVD and CD combo to review, I couldn't have been more excited for my youngest! He LOVES to dance to the music on the DVD and each little minisode of the DVD has a story line that shows that the Imagination Movers NEVER give up!!

The DVD quickly lost it's luster, only because we're in the car so much and the CD has taken over as the way to rock during our super long commute each day. We have a lengthy commute to take our oldest to school, and the music is upbeat and has a good message in each song. Even my hubs told me the other day that he had one of those Imagination Movers songs stuck in his head!

At this point, our 3yo can actually sing almost every word to each song... does that mean we've overdone it?? Maybe so, but he loves to sing - so why not sing along with some fun music that sends a great positive message with each and every track!

Would I recommend this set? ABSOLUTELY!!
